Located deep in the cold North, above the Arctic Circle, Svalbard is one of the northernmost inhabited areas of the world. Featuring majestic glaciers, polar bears, gorgeous mountains and 24 hours of sunlight come summertime (and vice versa come wintertime), it is a remarkable destination that we're happy to be able to offer.

Mysterious Barentsburg
Barentsburg, founded in 1920, is one of Svalbard’s most compelling photography destinations. Your dedicated Photo Exploring guide will help you find the strongest compositions throughout the settlement and ensure you leave with a body of work that goes well beyond a standard tourist visit.

Transportation by ship to and from Barentsburg is included and operated together with your guide, who will meet you at your hotel. At your pickup of choice, there may be other guests traveling on the same ship, but your tour remains private throughout the entire experience.

DIscover the Soviet mining settlement pyramiden
Pyramiden, founded by Sweden in 1910 and sold to the Soviet Union in 1927, was abandoned almost overnight in 1998 – and has remained virtually untouched ever since. Sitting at the foot of Billefjorden beneath its namesake pyramid-shaped mountain, it is one of the Arctic’s most extraordinary photography destinations: a settlement frozen in time, where Soviet murals, empty classrooms with children’s drawings still on the walls, and the world’s northernmost Lenin statue stand against the vast white face of the Nordenskiöld glacier.
Your dedicated Photo Exploring guide will help you find the strongest compositions across the settlement. Beyond the ghost town itself, Billefjorden offers sweeping landscape and glacier views, and the area is known for Svalbard reindeer and Arctic birdlife, with the occasional polar bear sighting adding a genuine sense of Arctic wilderness to your shoot.
Transportation by ship to and from Pyramiden is operated together with your Photo Exploring guide, who will meet you at your hotel. At your pickup of choice, there may be other guests traveling by the same ship, but your tour remains private throughout the entire experience.
