Stockholm is called one of the most beautiful cities in Europe - and with good reason. Situated on no fewer than 14 islands, but still relatively compact in size, it is perfect for photographic exploration and discovery of Scandinavian splendour.

STOCKHOLM ISLANDs HISTORICAL DAY TOUR

Stockholm’s vast and stunning archipelago starts just a short boat ride away from the city center. The archipelago is made up of more than 30,000 islands. We’ll do as the locals and take a ferry to Vaxholm, experiencing amazing seascape views along the way. Unofficially known as the capitol of the archipelago, Swedish King Gustav Vasa turned this old fishing village into a military defense point in the 1500s to protect Stockholm’s inlet from sea invasions. Enjoy a full day of sightseeing in a relaxed atmosphere with invaluable photo opportunities. We’ll have a nice local lunch (not included) taking in the views of the citadel, the old fortress.

Boat tickets are not included in the price.
